With the different and new breakthrough in the media world, the private world of everyone is being intruded into.  People dig into the lives of people particularly celebrities so as to have something new and stay updated.  I think people should leave people alone if they don’t want their lives to be intruded also.

Violence is being shown in media and we dismiss it as normal because they are there everyday.  Effects differ depending on who the audience is.  Children are more vulnerable to the effects especially if they are left unguided.

Media has entered every institution and it does a lot for the development or downfall of one. When media entered into sports, it did not enter so as to provide for the people.  Rather, the media companies did so for raising money.  It is up to us to have enough knowledge about these things so that we may know where do our money for entertainment go to.

When we speak of media, there is a kind of misuse and misunderstanding of what the difference of real world and media world.  Sometimes, we have them exchanged and thus, more misunderstanding arise.   What we should have in order to be media literate is to be knowledgeable enough of the distinction between the real world and the media world.  Hence, we are able to defend ourselves from the damaging effect of media to people.

Everything that the world have are gift coming form God. indeed it is a gift from God. the present world of the “digital world” as presented in the letter of Pope Benedict VXI is a gift form God and we are the beneficiaries of this world. however, we are not supposed only to use this gifts as to fulfillment of our desire. this were permitted by God to be invented by men in order for them to use it in glorifying Him. God allows these things to be discovered so that his presence may be concertized through this. however, who should be responsible for this, meaning, responsible in making it sure that the “digital world” that we are into will lead us to the concrete and real presence of God? One of the obvious and the most apparent example is that of the family. watching television creates disparity between the family members and it will sooner destroy the family bonding. it is very important that effects of media to institutions be stop of reduce so as avoid bad effects to the family. Certainly, media will have an effect to us. however, the will will vary depending on our being media literate. it can be a reactive or proactive approach. however, it is better to be proactive than reactive. We need to broaden our perspectives towards the things around us especially on media. This is to avoid an effect that would be harmful for us. Media will surely have an effect to us and no one is exempted to this. being media literate includes the broadening of perspective. that would provide us a better choice of the things offered to us by  modern medias.
